Sailing to the Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers is one of them: a journey where the fjord, the mountains, the ancient ice, and the immensity of the landscape take center stage.

What does this experience include?
✔ Navigation: through the Last Hope Fjord, surrounded by mountains, waterfalls and local wildlife.
✔ Panoramic view: of the Balmaceda Glacier from the boat.
✔ Trekking: Disembarkation and guided walk (approx. 20 minutes) through native forest to the base of the Serrano Glacier.

7:00 AM – Departure from Puerto Natales
Meeting at the agency and boarding at the Puerto Bories pier.
8:00 AM - Sailing through the Last Hope Fjord
During the journey you can enjoy unique views: waterfalls, historic estancias,
native forests and typical birds of the area such as cormorants and condors.
10:30 hrs - Balmaceda Glacier SightingThe boat approaches the imposing glacier, offering an unforgettable panoramic view.
11:00 hrs - Hike to the Serrano Glacier
Landing in Bernardo O'Higgins National Park and guided walk (20 minutes)
approx.) along a path surrounded by coihues and ñirres until reaching the foot of the glacier.
12:30 hrs - Return from the Serrano Glacier to Estancia Perales
1:30 PM - Lunch at a Patagonian Ranch: Magellanic lamb on a stick (or vegetarian option), accompanied by side dishes and wine

Reservations and Terms of Service – Yellow Plum Ltda
The following terms and conditions, including the reservation form and any written communications (such as emails) between the client and Yellow Plum Ltda, constitute a contractual agreement. By making a reservation by phone or online, the client is deemed to have read, understood, and accepted all of these terms and conditions.
Payment of the Reservation
To secure a reservation with Yellow Plum Ltda, each traveler must meet the following requirements:

Final Payment
The remaining balance must be paid 70 days prior to the trip. The reservation will not be considered confirmed until Yellow Plum Ltda. receives the deposit and the requested documentation. Once the initial payment is received, a detailed invoice will be sent with the total amount and the outstanding balance.
If you book less than 70 days in advance, it is considered a last-minute reservation, and you must pay 100% of the total amount within 48 hours to confirm your spot. Until full payment is received, your spot is not guaranteed and may be subject to changes or additional fees.
Mandatory Travel Insurance
Since our trips take place in remote areas, it is mandatory to have personal insurance that covers:

Repatriation and evacuation
Please ensure your insurance does not exclude the activities you will be participating in (trekking, horseback riding, etc.). Yellow Plum Ltda. is not responsible for medical costs or evacuation in the event of an emergency. We will act in accordance with protocols, but the cost is the responsibility of the traveler.
Disclaimer
Yellow Plum Ltda does not carry liability insurance. It cannot assume responsibility for incidents related to the traveler's conduct, equipment, animals (in the case of horseback riding), or situations caused by third parties. All travelers must sign a liability waiver before the trip.
Health Condition
All participants must be in good physical and mental health. The health form must be completed and submitted with the initial deposit. This allows us to plan a safe experience appropriate to your abilities.
Passports and Visas
Travelers are responsible for keeping their passport valid for at least two months after the program end date. They are also responsible for arranging any visas or other documents required to enter Chile.
Personal belongings
Yellow Plum Ltda is not responsible for the loss, theft or damage of personal belongings, whether before, during or after the trip.

Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations
• Individuals (1–4 passengers): Free of charge up to 14 days before. After that, 100% charge.
• Groups (5 or more): Free up to 30 days before. After that, 100% charge.
Children
• Children under 2 years: free.
• 2 to 12 years: 50% of the rate.
• From 13 years old: full rate.
