Reservations and Terms of Service – Yellow Plum Ltda

The following terms and conditions, including the booking form and any written communication (such as emails) between the customer and Yellow Plum Ltda, constitute a contractual agreement. By making a booking by phone or online, the customer acknowledges having read, understood, and accepted all of these conditions.

Reservation Payment

To secure a reservation with Yellow Plum Ltda, each traveler must meet the following requirements:

• Make a deposit of 50% of the total program value.

• Complete and submit the following required forms:

• Contact and Health Form

• Liability waiver

Final Payment

The remaining balance must be paid 70 days before the start of the trip. The booking will not be considered confirmed until Yellow Plum Ltda receives the deposit and the required documentation. Once the initial payment is received, a detailed invoice will be sent with the total amount and the outstanding balance.

If you book less than 70 days in advance, it will be considered a last-minute booking, and you will need to pay 100% of the total cost within 48 hours to confirm your reservation. Until full payment is received, your reservation is not guaranteed and may be subject to changes or additional fees.

Mandatory Travel Insurance

Since our trips take place in remote areas, it is mandatory to have personal insurance that covers:

• Medical and hospital care

• Accidents, injuries or death

• Trip cancellation and reduction

• Repatriation and evacuation

Please verify that your insurance policy does not exclude the activities you will be doing (trekking, horseback riding, etc.). Yellow Plum Ltda is not responsible for medical costs or evacuation in case of emergency. We will act according to protocol, but the expense is the traveler's responsibility.

Disclaimer
Yellow Plum Ltda does not have liability insurance. It cannot assume responsibility for incidents related to traveler conduct, equipment, animals (in the case of horseback riding), or situations caused by third parties. All travelers must sign a liability waiver before the trip.
Health Condition
All participants must be in good physical and mental health. The health form must be completed and submitted along with the initial deposit. This allows us to plan a safe experience tailored to your abilities.
Passports and Visas
The traveler is responsible for ensuring their passport is valid for at least two months after the program's end date. They are also responsible for obtaining any visas or other documents required to enter Chile.
Personal Items
Yellow Plum Ltda is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings, whether before, during or after the trip.

• American Express: 3.9%

• Paypal: 4.5%

✅ There is no fee if the payment is made by transfer from a US bank account.

🔔 The customer assumes all fees for international transfers. Please specify "OUR" in the transfer fees.

Cancellations and Refunds

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and will be valid once received by Yellow Plum Ltda. Refunds apply according to the following table:

• 70 days or more before the trip: Full refund, less an administrative fee:

• USD $300 per person (standard programs)

• USD $600 per person (private or customized programs)

• 69 days or less: No refund.

Yellow Plum Ltda reserves the right to cancel the trip up to 70 days before its start if:

• The minimum number of participants required was not reached.

• Force Majeure events occur, such as wars, pandemics, strikes, natural disasters, riots, transportation cancellations, or logistical problems beyond the company's control.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel cancellation insurance to protect your investment.
